The Problem with the DMV

I had to get a new driver’s license, get my car inspected, get it licensed and an oil change. So I took a PTO and packed a bag with three knitting projects (you need variety) and a novel and headed off for a day of waiting in line.

What happened to the DMV? I got that all done in an hour or two. I didn’t even take out my knitting or crack my book. I had no excuse to not go outside and get fresh air.

I knew Obama was going to bring change, but I wasn’t expecting him to start with freeing us from standing in line.
